Tesco Express is a short walk away in Events Square and is open late. There is a slightly larger Tesco Metro near the Prince of Wales Pier, which stocks a bigger selection of ‘free-from’ food.

The Post Office and small convenience store is nearby on Bar Road, in the direction of the docks.

Truro is Cornwall’s only city and is located just 12 miles away.  Although a lot smaller than other city centres it has the largest shopping area in Cornwall with a good selection of independent retailers as well as the major high street names. There is also a Waitrose and Cornish Store in Truro, where you can buy local beers, wines and spirits, along with fresh produce.

Cocktail connoisseurs will find plenty on offer at the Juniper Club, Church St or slightly further afield at the unlikely looking Constantine Stores (aka Drink Finder UK) in the village of Constantine.
